[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used thermometer for first time . Displays kept on giving me an E 1 display. Took batteries out as replacement rd with new it work after that.
What is E1 trouble issue. For future reference, used to measure temperature on hot steel plate on grill, works ok.
