Good product, would recommend

Good product would recommend, its more accurate than the original however it did overheat first time using as I left to close to oven however when I used it second time there were no issues

A Worthy upgrade

I have the original Ooni Infrared Thermometer, and when this was announced I wanted it.
I have used it to take temperatures of a number of things both in and out of my Ooni ovens.
I find that it does have a few degrees of a range compared to the original one.
The ring that shows the colour temperature. Seems to be a fun addition and will enable newer people to the pizza making family to be more confident at when the stone will be ready for your pizza :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brilliant piece of kit for the pizza oven. Easy to use and makes all the difference when getting the oven up to heat and Aldi cooling it down to cook other stuff apart from pizzas.

A must for cooking the perfect pizza!

I have the Karu 16, even though it has the thermometer built in, it’s only for the ambient temperature, the Digital one lets you know when the stone is ready.
