More complicated than it needs to be

This was installed with a new-build home. I doubt I would have selected it in a store. Fundamental flaws: the layout of the numbers in a linear format instead of the classic and expected matrix on literally every other microwave in the world; for heating instructions which direct you to use less than 100% power (yes, there are products and recipes which tell you to use 70% power, 50% power, etc), you can’t do it with this microwave. It has preset modes which imagine scenarios like reheating casseroles or softening butter, but no means to just select the % of power output you want.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love that it can be used for more than just microwaving, especially in this heat of an AZ summer allowing me to prepare my meals without heating up my house more by using the traditional oven,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this from the builder studio when I had my house built February. It really is just for looks... I say that because, it takes 5 mins to heat up food that has been in refrigerator overnight, 3 m8ns for just regular food, it does not airfry well at all.. I mean it looks great, it does what the app tells it but 0 power... its like having a Ferrari body kit on a Chevy Malibu...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Whirlpool Microwave-Oven-Hood Combo Honest Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this Whirlpool microwave-oven-hood combo a month and a half ago. It has all the bells and whistles that one could want, but there is a learning curve, and I have been experimenting with all its' features. It looks great in the space above my stove and has a nice, large interior plus a built-in fan and light options. It DOES have specific, clearly labeled Modes for: Air Fry, Grill, Reheat, Defrost, Popcorn(?) However, it DOES NOT have specific, clearly labeled Modes for: Microwave and Convection Oven (which in my mind are the most important functions.) Instead, you have to scroll thru all sorts of sub-modes in the Modes labeled: Cook, Other and Food Options. This makes mode selection cumbersome. The grill rack and air fry basket are great to have but the 3-level rack accessory attached to the side walls makes it difficult to clean the side walls. The door is large and heavy, and the outside is not easy to clean due to the sensitive modes displayed at the bottom; however, the modes are easy to access which is important to a short person like me. (My old 30y+ Sharp Carousel had similar functions but easier to operate.)
