Great Shave too bad about the replacement blades

Got this to reduce the waste of a disposable razor and it is great for that. Shave it very good. The initial blade was very sharp and worked for a long time the replacement ones however are very poor in comparison. After only 3 shaves the blade was not sharp and began to deteriorate quickly (see pic). I don't mind paying for the blades but they should be longer lasting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the OneBlade as a Christmas present a few years back, due to the advertisements I'd seen on the TV, and, needless to say, I was impressed by what I saw!
After receiving the blade, and using it for several months, I came to the conclusion that, although it DOES work really well, with a new blade, once the blades begin to dull, it tended to catch on my existing facial hair, pulling it out rather than cutting it, which was rather painful. The battery lasts for QUITE a while; longer than I'd expected it to last, but when it gets low, it again, it starts <u>pulling</u> the longer hairs rather'n cutting them. All in all, though, I've had this blade for a few years now, and, unless I want a REALLY close shave (this blade leaves just a little bit of stubble), I use it EVERY time I shave! I would recommend it primarily to anyone who doesn't need a babyface every day, or doesn't have an existing beard. Those who DO have a beard can use it, but just be aware that it MAY pull the longer hairs out along your hairline (beardline?).

I have found that a little shaving cream to lubricate my face and neck are most helpful when using the OneBlade razor. I have a very thick beard and even after using this particular Norelco razor, my face and neck still feel very rough.
I like that it shaves closely and does not cut my neck the way in which multiple blade cartridges do, but even the OneBlade system does not shave me close enough.

flimsy, blades break and fall apart easily

nice little invention, the only thing wrong with it is it takes too long to charge, and the replacement heads are expensive, but it's worth it anyways
