Quality has decreased while price has increased

I’ve been using the one blade for about 4-5 years and have enjoyed it. The blades last for a reasonable amount of time and are fairly priced. That’s why I was super disappointed when I went to buy more and saw that they are charging the same price for a single blade that they use to charge for two. On top of that, during my second shave, all the plastic on the blade crumpled and fell apart. Sad to see another company decrease the quality of its products to increase profits.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the way one can get a near regular shaver shave with a dry shaving means as the OneBlade affords. Some days one wants to get by with a direct shaving method without being tied to a sink to shave. It's really convenient that way. I also like how it is double bladed. I'm really glad I stumbled upon it and use it regularly whenever I want a quick shave to reduce the stubble to be out in public passably shaven. The only downside is the cost of the replacement blades, but they do at least last months. BTW, I think Costco where I got it has the best deal on it, giving you 3 total blades.

I really loved this thing at first, but when not using the guard and shaving directly blade against skin, the blade will dull out within a handful of uses. I would typically use it to trim my neck hair when I was in a hurry and didn't want to razor, but it's simply unaffordable to use it in this manner, as you'd be spending $30 a month on blades. The battery lasts forever, which is great, but the amount of waste this produces over a lifetime for the blades alone makes it an extremely unfriendly product for the environment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have bought this for my husband

I have bought this for my husband whom has gone through a few different brands. And it works great for him. The only problem is getting replacement blades for it. I have bought 2 different sets and they were dull and pulled his hair. I returned then to the store and they said it was the user not the blades. The looked wore out and they were not sharp. But we love this product just need sharp blades

Hello. Thanks for bringing this to our attention here. We'd very much like to share some tips with you so your husband can enjoy the blades for a longer period of time. One of the reasons for the blade to turn blunt quicker than expected is improper cleaning. Cleaning tools such as brushes, towels etc or chemical liquids can cause early wear. Please follow the cleaning instructions for OneBlade below: After every use blow off any hair accumulated on the blade. Turn your OneBlade on and rinse the blade and comb(s) with lukewarm water.
If the attachments need to be cleaned more thoroughly turn the OneBlade off, take off its attachments and wash them under a tap. Do not tap your blade on a hard surface like the sink to clean or dry it. This can damage the device. .
Next to proper cleaning it is important to use your OneBlade only on recommended body parts. The Philips OneBlade is designed to be used on the face to trim and edge up your beard. With the body attachment, you can also use it on your body. However, if you use your OneBlade no other non-recommended areas, like your head, it may cause the blade to wear out and turn green prematurely. Always make sure your skin is clean before using OneBlade on it.
The lifetime of the blade of your Philips OneBlade also depends on the volume and density of your hair. For hard or long hair, the blade can wear out quicker than for soft and/or short hair.

I have pretty coarse hair on my head and decided to purchase to give it a shot. Amazingly, i have not had any issues shaving my head with this razor, especially in the shower.
Simple design that gets the job done.
Handle fits comfortably in your hand, slightly larger handle than the razor you near the sink.
The attachment guards included are easy to attach/ detach, but I have not actually used them.

flimsy, blades break and fall apart easily

At first I was happy with the OneBlade, but the expensive blade broke in a 2 inch fall at my sink.

The product is simply Amazing

This "Norelco One" is simply Amazing. It gives me so much ease in clean shaving, lining and fading with its 3 different head caps. Its battery last so long and it is easy to clean and replace heads. It is light weight and I love the firm grip due to material used in manufacturing. I have used it for 18 months now and never had razor bumps. Friends don't believe it when i tell them I do my own face and beard lining. The head is flexible especially shaving under the chin and lining forehead and side burns. I love it and will recommend it 100 % any day.
