The trimmer is very easy to use. The different options make it helpful to trim my facial and nose hair. It is a good size, doesn`t take up too much space in my drawer and also big enough to allow good range of motion. I easily cleaned up my beard, sideburns and nose hair in a matter of minutes. It is a quality product that does a good job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not happy with this product. I am 71 years old, and the directions for this product are the worst I have ever seen. The directions should be in a booklet, not the fold out directions, which make them much harder to follow. If I had seen the directions before I bought the product, I would have never bought the product. I'm using the product now and I have no idea if I using it the correct way. That may be the reason that the product doesn't work very well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Product was pretty good

Overall the product got the job done pretty easily.The initial set up was simple for me to do without instructions. Looking at the instructions it would have been easy to use had I needed it. Miner problems I had with the nose hair trimmer was the rotary head kind of pulled on my nose hairs during the first go around. The other trimmer head didn't do it as much but it felt like it took longer with it. The detailing head also took a very long time getting through the edges of my beard. One recommendation I could give is improving the sharpness of the detailer head.

Good but not great

Norelco is a solid brand. I have used other Norelco products over the years. The actual device is well built and has many different parts depending on which application is needed (i.e. beard trimmer, nose hair trimmer, eyebrow trimmer, etc.). The beard trimmer is the best feature about this particular Norelco model. I found it was strong, had above average power. For me the trimmer fell short when using some of the other attachments including the nose hair trimmer and ear hair trimmer. In both instances, I found that the attachments had a `pulling` effect making the process of trimming those hairs annoyingly uncomfortable. I found it easier and frankly more comfortable to just use the beard trimmer. It got the hair very close to the root and was faster, easier. If I am to continue using this item, I will probably just not use any of the many attachments. Thankfully it comes with a nice little bag to put everything in. I did find that the trimmer had above average power. Thinking that if it had two AA batteries instead of one, that would be better. Perhaps more power, making the main element move faster and more powerfully, might help the other attachments work more effectively, possibly lowering the sense of pulling. All in all it is not a bad product, it is just not an outstanding product. I have used others that I would choose first before this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product doesn't have durability as package incurages.It has a very hard time keeping the eyebrows trimmer working effectively.However everything else works properly and is built well just not a working fully functioning product in the end.But one design setback and part malfunction can cost lots of account damages and quick.But Phillips Norelco is rownound for excellence in men's care shaving and cutting and grooming products.
