Just okay!

What I like about this trimmer; the attachments work well. The shaving attachment does well trimming the edges of my beard and the hair around my ears and making those perfect straight edges in a hair line. The main attachment it comes with, the one that the guards fit, is great as there is no way to cut yourself. It’s one downside is that it doesn’t cut super close.
What I do not like, the nose hair attachment and what I would primarily use this for, is lacking. I have stayed away from the “round” style in the past and I am reminded why. I find it worthless and lacking. The current trimmer I have, is like a miniature standard shaver and is what I have found works best for nose hair. If that attachment existed in this kit, it would be one of the best trimmers on the market.

Compact and effective !

Well put together trimmer. Runs on one AA battery & was powerful and maintained constant trimming speed. Easy to use, nice design & got the job done. It was easy to clean & the extra attachments were good to have. Very active micro blade = close trimming.
No pulling of hairs. Very easy to place into nose, ears, eyebrows. Inserting the battery took a few moments to figure out. There is a small section on the bottom portion.
I needed to pay close attention in securing the attachments. The paper instruction are in small font, so read carefully.
The attachments are small and store in a small black fabric bag. Its difficult to view. Maybe a clear plastic bag would be easier to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

You get the quality that you pay for

I got this product for free in exchange for my unbiased review. I was initially excited about trying out this product because it is so versatile and seem like a really nice trimmer to add to my hair cutting stuff. While it does everything it is supposed to, unfortunately it is not with high quality, The nose hair trimmer starts to get really warm after more than ten seconds of continued use which can get uncomfortable. Its doesn`t do a solid job of trimming everything if your nose hair are long to begin with. I imagine it will do better maintaining trimmed nose/ear hairs, but for the initial cutting it is sub par. The eyebrow trimming was probably the best part. While it took some time to make sure I was getting all of the hairs cut, it did eventually give a solid trim that was consistent and didn`t look over trimmed. I used the Long version though. I imagine the short might be too short for my liking. The detail trimmer does a good job of cutting through the hair, but the blades a petty rough and can easily scratch and cut you especially on more sensitive area.
If you are looking for a cheap option for occasional use, this might be the tool for you. If you are looking for a daily use tool that you want quality results out of, look elsewhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One if the Best Out There

Having tried so many different types and brands, I can honestly say this is one of the best trimmers I have used. The Philips Norelco NT5600/42 Nose Trimmer uses a different cutting technology that the rotary ones and that to me is the reason this one is better. This comes packaged nicely, everything arrived in perfect condition. You can actually feel the better quality because this seems better made and heavier than others I have tried. They do give you the lithium battery which is a plus. The main part are the blades which do a great job of cutting and best of all, not pulling. That is a huge plus over other brands, especially when it comes to trimming inside the nose. I found that because this cuts better it shortens the time needed to use it. The different attachments make it easy to trim your eyebrows side and sideburns. I also found that this cleans up easier because of the design on the blades, simply hold under running water. It is a well-made system that does what it states and does it well. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

The product has great features

I liked this trimmer. I`ve used trimmers for years and have come to expect that they will last only a short time before something goes wrong and it has to be tossed. I haven`t had this trimmer long but so far so good. It definitely has a few features I hadn`t used before, like the eyebrow trimmer. It`s got two different attachments to provide two different cutting lengths on the eyebrows. That`s probably it`s best feature as I don`t like to pluck or shape my eyebrows, but I don`t want long stringy eyebrows either. Read the instructions on how to use the attachments as it was helpful. The trimmer came with a battery so that was a plus, and different attachments to cut nose hair, all of which worked well. There`s also a larger trimmer attachment for sideburns and neck so another plus there. Overall, I`d have to say it had more features than any similar trimmer I`ve used and I would recommend it.

Doesn’t feel cheap!

Overall, a good, well built trimmer. Doesn’t feel cheap or weak some other trimmers you find for cheap prices. Blades seem to look like they are built to last. Also, does not nick or pull on hair like some other trimmers. I’m pretty sure this will be my go to trimmer for a while. Only concern is the battery life, but we’ll see as I use it more.

Best portable trimmer around.

What an amazing nose trimmer, small, light and very convenient. I travel a lot so automatically the size and lightness were a huge plus for me. This trimmer is definitely more versatile than I expected just from looking at the packaging. I started with my nose area as this trimmer provides a unique adapter allowing the user to get to hairs you may easily look over when you know it is not easily accessible. I did one at a time so I would be able to compare and visually see just how effective the trimmer truly is.
I was shocked at how well I achieved my shave – no frustration whatsoever with the trimmer. Very accurate – and I had no allergic reaction. The trimmer exceeded my expectations. I would lie to admit that I am a hairy man – so the ears and my nose more often than night can be problematic with my other shaver. I would totally recommend this trimmer to my guy friends…..

This product does several tasks well. It combines the functions of a nose hair trimmer, eyebrow trimmer, mustache trimmer and beard trimmer in one device. It comes with a nice travel pouch.
