[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Big improvement over the similar Wahl trimmer I had before. Does a much better job of nose-hair trimming (much better than a rotary trimmer) but takes some getting used to. Like the extra attachments and that all trimmer attachments can be rinsed under running water. Great product that is also reasonably priced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a Philips nose trimmer last month and am delighted with it! It works very well for easily dealing with routine nose and ear hair issues.
It runs on a single "AA" battery. I don't run it for extended periods, and so far it's operating off the initial battery with brief daily use.
This is a good product for regular, daily grooming. It's particularly good for ear and nose use, avoiding risks that can come from using tweezers or similar approaches.

I was very pleased with the functionality of This trimmer.. Great attachments, that are very easy to interchange if necessary. The design is great. The grips allow you to use the trimmer without fear of slip-ups or mistakes. The 5000 is great for me because the the ease of operation.
I have other trimmer and I have to admit this one feel far better in the hands with it`s nice usability. It appears like it has more power and allow the battery to last much longer then my other trimmers.
Personally I can`t think of much to improve this product. The design, the functionality and its performance is several steps above anything on the market today.
My overall impression is the 5000 is a well made product that is sturdy and functional..
