It takes too long to get hot. And you have to open the door for the keypad lights up.

Your model offers the hidden bake element. The advantage of the hidden bake element is the ease at which you can wipe out the oven floor of any heavy spills or after the self clean cycle. On models with the hidden bake it is normal for the preheat time to take approximately 15-20 minutes.
Your model offers electronic controls that remain in a low power mode so that only the clock is displayed if the oven is not in use. To wake the display, you can either open the door or press any key on the control panel. We hope this helps and wish you all the best! Vikki@GEA

Even temperature, internet controls

Our 20 year old bosch hinge broke and they did not support it anymore so had to buy a new oven. The GE has surpassed expectations i bake and the even temperature and ability to inform me vua my phone re temps and the timer are great. GE also was great as they subsidize the needed cabinetry work needed to install it. 5 stars

Great for baking!

We have a family of bakers, and love the convection feature. We have had it for a month, and all of the baked items have turned out great! The oven is straightforward to use, and we are very happy with it.
One other item of note, we have a GE gas range over the oven, and one big concern was interference with the installation of the new oven. The GE oven has a larger recess in the back compared to other ovens that accommodates the gas installation depth required of the range hook-up. If you have a gas range inset on your counter above your oven, this is a great choice to ensure it fits.
