The oven will turn on at night and run all night in the morning it will be around 115 degrees. Also the steam locks the display.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the fact that the menu disappears when oven is not in use and all you see is the clock.

Only been using it for a few weeks, but so far, so good. Easy to use and seems to cook well. Still experimenting with some of the features. Looks great though.

Love love love my new oven. The controls, quietness of the oven and features are the best. The ability to cut the oven on by using my phone is awesome. The preheating is so much easier as I can have the oven preheated by the time I arrive home and be ready to cook quickly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Except for One Design Flaw

The oven bakes reliably, has many features, and would receive a better rating from me if there weren't one major design flaw: The notification sound signal for temperature reached and the timer, even when set to repeat and to "High" volume sounds like a weak little "Tinkerbell" and is not easily audible over normal kitchen background noise or conversation, much less from another room. This GE full-size oven signal is much softer than the signals from the small built-in microwave oven and the small Breville countertop oven.
The GE oven still has inadequate sound volume even after the firmware update installed through the GE app and web connection. This could possibly be resolved by a future firmware upgrade: GE should redesign the type of sound notification and increase its volume range choice. Otherwise, some people will have to carry around a separate timer to signal when baking time has expired.
Most showrooms do not have the ovens hooked up, so there is no way that a purchaser can know of this functional inadequacy until after the oven is purchased and installed, at which point GE says "that's the way they are". The oven specs should provide a decibel (dB) rating for the notification signal as compared with what is a standard dB notification rating in a range of kitchen equipment. I'm guessing this oven's signal is maximum about 30-40 dB, whereas the standard residential refrigerator is about 40-43 dB, typical living room 40 dB, background music 50 dB, microwave oven 55-59 dB, normal conversation 55-65 dB, and dishwasher 63-66 dB. A kitchen appliance notification signal should be able to be set as high as a standard alarm clock, which is at least 60 dB.
I recommend this oven only with the aforementioned caveat regarding the inadequate notification sound volume.
