New GE Oven

I was very happy with the product and the installation.
The oven being replaced was only 12 years old, which was disappointing.
The new model has the vent underneath the oven rather than just under the control panel, I am pleased with the improvement on the design.

Too many problems.

The door has never closed all the way. It takes forever to preheat. Like 15 minutes for 350 setting. Now when I open the door about 80% of the time it shuts off. It does not maintain the temperature that it was set to. It slowly goes to a lower temperature. It’s always down this. I should have called when it was brand new but didn’t. Now it is 5 years old 😩
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to lend a hand with your wall oven. If the oven is installed at its proper voltage (240 volts for electric), you should expect the following preheat time of 15 to 20 minutes. This is normal.
Electric ovens will cycle on and off throughout the cycle to maintain the set temperature. When the oven temperature has dropped below the set temperature, the oven cycles on again to heat and will then cycle off again once it is higher than the set temperature. For more information on temperature changes or of the temperature isn't coming back up, please refer to the articles here:

The oven is self intuitive, so it has a lot of bells and whistles but it is very easy to figure out what to do.On the other hand I find that the food on the bottom gets more burned
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great project with sleek design and quality.
Love the aifry function for fast even cooking.
Evenly heats in convection oven mode to bake bread wonderfully. Live the size and capacity of this oven. Temperature stays even and true while cooking. I don’t like having to access controls from my phone.

Extremely slow to heat up and main element only lasted 4 years. Not impressed with reliability. Our original oven lasted 17 years. This is over priced junk.
