Well as luck would have it I got one with a bad touch pad. But we were able to work around it with the WIFI capability. The wifi was not the easiest thing to get set up but it did allow us to use the oven. We have since had the touch pad replaced and so far so good. I mean it's an oven and it cooks food. Haven't used it to much as yet. I'm sure double oven feature will be very nice for the big holiday meals.
This product was offered through my homebuilder. All kitchen appliance selections are GE products in a new construction home. The oven itself works just fine - I really like it. But I have a major issue with the volume settings on the timer. It is barely audible on the high setting and virtually silent on the low setting. If the TV or radio is on, or I'm in another room when using the oven, I can't hear it. I have no hearing issues. I have tried many times, along with my Project Manager, to reset the sound option to a higher level, with no success. This issue is not acceptable, especially considering what I paid for this applicance. I have a friend who selected the same oven in her new home (within the same community), and she says the volume setting problem is the same as mine.
