Ugh, Oven comes on by itself, doors misaligned!

While the oven bakes well when I use it, it comes on all by itself. Luckily the light comes on at the same time so I know this was happening. Otherwise there could’ve been more of an issue. And after three months of attempting to get a new double oven from GE I’m still in this process and hoping to get it by Christmas! There are lots of these products that the doors are misaligned and every time a new one shows up the door is misaligned. They cannot guarantee that there’s good functionality so I have to return it. This has been a very frustrating process.

I just replaced my GE Double oven with another GE Double oven after 24 years. I guess that says something for sure. The new oven definitely has more features and I do like the ceramic finish inside instead of the traditional finish. Although when it comes to cleaning I’m told NOT to use it except for steam cleaning the inside. Hmmm, why put the other feature in then. Design Flaw… other design flaw is not putting some sort of texture on the area with you touch for operating the oven. All you see are fingerprints. Okay, that’s my complaints but, other than that the oven performs fine. I haven’t used all the features yet but, so far, so good.
Overall I really do love this double oven. I love that you can choose if the upper oven is convection or conventional baking. The gliding rack is a huge bonus. Although I do wish that the upper and lower ovens had the gliding racks. After a month of use, my only negative would be that it is odd that the oven lights can’t turn on separately, if you turn it on, it will turn on both upper and lower lights. There’s a bit of a learning curve as with any new appliance but it’s pretty easy to get the hang of. I haven’t used the app much but look forward to seeing all the benefits of that as well.
I'm really happy with our double wall ovens. My all time favorite thing is that the controls are intuitive. I have used other wall ovens that I needed the manual. Overall, very happy with the capacity, the design, the features (hooray for air fryer setting - which works beautifully) and performance is perfect.
I absolutely love my GE 30-inch Smart Built-In Self Clean Convection Double Wall Oven. This oven has truly transformed my cooking experience. The smart features make it incredibly convenient to control and monitor remotely via my smartphone, which is perfect for some of my busy days. The Convection baking is fantastic everything that I've been making so far has come out evenly cooked and perfectly browned. I especially enjoy the no preheat air fryer which saves me time and energy while still delivering crispy, delicious results. This double oven design provides ample space for preparing multiple dishes at once, making it ideal for preparing family dinners and when I'm entertaining guests. Cleaning is a breeze with the self-clean feature, and the overall build
Keeps blowing circuit breaker every so often. No one seems to correct this problem. Told it's the gfi and oven not up to speed on technology. Very frustrating.
