Nonexistent timer

Looks great - seems to cook fine, so far - but the timer is so muffled, it's virtually useless. This seems to be an issue with ALL GE wall ovens (I compared in the local appliance store).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really do not like the oven

I have had it for a month now and already had a tech out to check it to no avail. The oven never is at the temperature it is supposed to be at. It is either 50 degrees too low or too high. And you never know which it is. I have burned cookies, under cooked chicken. I finally got a thermometer but now feel like I need to check it and adjust it every 15 minutes. I really wish I had not replaced my old oven
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your new oven has a different cooking system from your old oven and therefore may cook differently than your old oven.
For the first few uses, follow your recipe times and temperatures carefully. If you still think your new oven is too hot or too cold, you can adjust the temperature yourself to meet your specific cooking preference.

Note: This adjustment affects Bake and Convection Bake; it will not affect Convection Roast, Broil or Clean.

good oven for the price

Heats up quickly and fan is quiet. Main complaints: fingerprints everywhere, timer is very quiet and there should be 5 racks instead of 4.
