Big problem with the wall oven

This is a perfectly acceptable product with a fatal flaw. there is not burner at the bottom of the stove-just on the top. So all of those recipes that call for putting the baking dish on the bottom (like pies, tarts, sheet pan recipes) won't cook properly. You won't find any information on the product that notes this 'problem"

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on your GE Appliances built-in wall oven. We are sorry to hear that you would prefer a bake element on the bottom of the oven as well. This particular model is one that offers true-european convection, which is a 6-pass broil element in the top of the oven and a 6 or 8-pass bake element in the bottom of the oven are used in conjunction with a third heating element. This third element is a 2500-watt, double-loop element located in the back wall of the oven, and it surrounds the convection fan. The convection fan reverse direction to allow air to better circulate around the food. Performance testing has shown that reversing the fan produces more evenly browned baked goods, which eliminates the need for turning food or rotating pans.

you need to provide much more details of using the oven as well as menus. How to use rings, bells, not to burn foods, etc. I was a great baker. Now I am afraid of your oven.

Funtional dashboard, wi-fi options, timers, alarms

This oven is absoluteley fantastic, thought it had oven fry but actually did not. Have not quite figured out how to use all the remote features but its work in progress. The way your are notified of temperature achieved and time alarm operation are worth its wieght! Convection and Conventional capabilities are super. Great Job GE!

The clock would always be displayed on the screen and there's no way you can turn off the screen to black.

It bakes as needed. I wish I could have ordered an oven without any computer connections. Steam, heat, and computer motherboards are not a good match. One does NOT need a wifi enabled oven to cook with. This is just a useless feature that easily breaks and shortens the life of the product. Start making a basic (good quality) oven again, please!

The oven seems to take longer than I expected to pre-heat. 15 to 20 minutes.

Great Features, Need Owners Manual to Learn

I love the many features of this oven - the way I can preheat it with Alexa, the air fry mode, the recipes, and so much more! I have had the oven a month, and I feel I have not even begun to explore the many features. If I could make some tweaks to its, I would recommend that there would be a paper manual that comes with it so I can see all of the features AND I also wish it preheated quicker. It takes about 15 minutes to preheat to 350 degrees, which I think is slow. This is my fourth GE oven. I had another brand that came with the house in between, and switched back to GE with this oven at the first sign of distress.
I would recommend this to a friend!
