They don't make 'em like they used to

I bought this to replace a GE Profile convection oven that stopped working after 29 years. It fit the space perfectly and looks very sleek, although the touch screen is a fingerprint magnet. It takes longer to preheat than my previous oven and the cooking times are longer because I don't think it gets as hot. I adjusted the temperature in the app. I hope that makes a difference. I like its updated features, but I was more happy with my old oven's performance.

Easy to operate, good quality. I bought a GE to replace my old one which was also a GE that i had bought in 1982! Very satisfied.

Too long to preheat

Not happy with GE on this appliance, either. Takes at least 15 minutes to preheat to a temperature of 350! Too much fancy stuff to figure out...don't need it all! Oven shelves are difficult to pull out or push in!

Happy with Wall Oven with a few minor Caveats...

We are very happy with the wall oven so far. Installation was fairly straightforward. I do have 3 minor annoyances. The installation instructions included with the oven were in 2 or 3 languages, but there were no operating instructions included whatsoever!! That seems a little odd to me, especially since the oven is all digital/touchpad and a little more complicated to operate compared to the old oven it is replacing! (Which would be the case for most people buying a "replacement" oven!!) Fortunately, I was able to find and download the operating instructions online. Secondly, the warranty card was taped to the inside of the oven door with the tape covering over portions of the card that the owner needs to fill in and send to GE. This was just stupid. There is no was peel the tape off without destroying the warranty card. Again, I ended up submitting the warranty online. Lastly and most seriously, the oven rack is extremely tight and difficult to move in its tracks in the oven. We followed the instructions and used some vegetable oil to help lubricate them but they do not slide easily at all. We are hoping that the rack and tracks loosen up over time and with more heating/cooling and usage.

Inability to access air fry.

Love my new oven but do not understand why you have to use WiFi in order to include air fry. It doesn’t make sense. My husband spent an hour with one of your reps and she wasn’t able to help him either. We still don’t know how to use air fry!!

Nice Features, like Convection - Great Oven

We had the oven installed 2-1/2 years years ago. It' s been everything we had hoped for. So, definitely a 5-star product. In full disclosure, despite being a very fine product, we returned home from a trip yesterday to find glass scattered on the floor, and the oven's front window shattered. A real mystery.
