Excellent built-in oven

The install into the existing space was easy. I am able to use my larger pans in this 27" oven that I was not able to in the old 27" oven. Used the Proof, bake, convection bake, and bake converter, timer and cook timer so far. Love them all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unreliable product and warranty service

The oven stopped working after ~3 months of use. The technician came out within a few days of the warranty claim and ordered the replacement part (heating element), that was supposed to arrive in 2 weeks. 2 months later the part still hasn't arrived and no ETA or tracking number has been provided.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is ok. It is not the one I wanted. I wanted the solid black one. It would have fit in the kitchen better. I was very,very dissatisfied . I wanted the black one to match my kitchen but you couldn't supply it unless I wanted to wait a year. I hate the stainless steel one. It is not the one that hides finger prints, of course it was not anywhere to buy either. I even checked the Michigan area 49423 where my daughter lives. None anywhere. Can the oven door be exchanged or did you make them different also. I am getting better at uses it to cook. Clock is also too small to see from across the room.

so far, everything is excellent

first, i love the look of stainless much better than the white one we had. it's a clean look and being "smudge-proof" really is helpful. the cooking was slightly off my old oven and i adjusted the temp up 4 degrees which brought it in line with what i'm used to. so far, i've made 2 batches of cookies - both turned out PERFECT!! i've also roasted 3 whole chickens using the "convect roast" setting. the first was without the probe. it turned out well. then, the next 2, i used the meat probe. the 1st i set at 157degrees - it was almost perfect........it just needed about 15 extra minutes of cooking. the second, i set at 162 degrees and it cooked it perfectly. also, when cooking heavier foods like chickens, that "easy-slide" rack comes in very handy. at first, i didn't see the point to it. after using it, i love it. some have said they can't hear the timer alarm; but after turning up volume, i can hear it from about 30 feet away - which seems fine to me. my only gripe (if i had to pick one) is the numbers on the clock are very thin and sometimes they blend together - they should have used a different number "font". as far as setting up the oven after startup - it's easy. only thing that confused me was shutting off timer alarm. i'd hit cancel and it worked - but it also shut oven off and i wasn't done with it! i came to find out, if you want oven to stay on, hit the timer button and it'll shut off timer/timer alarm without shutting off oven. my last GE lasted 22 years and i'm hoping for the same from this one. right now, after the first couple weeks - this oven is a winner and i can't be more pleased with it.

Oven was good but the timing notice sound is too weak and the programming volumn adjustment didnt give it enough change to make a difference. Customer service told me thats as good as it gets, no other way to improve it.

Proof mode oven and probe!

I love the sleek design of this oven. It has a proof mode, which I will find very handy, as I make a lot of bread. I am interested in seeing how the probe works, but the unit was just installed and I haven't tried it yet. Even though it was the same size as my old wall oven, 27", it has a larger capacity, which I appreciate.
