We had our oven installed to replace an old Hotpoint unit that was still working after 30 years. We wanted new features and modern conveniences with this one. Love the touch control panel and the wifi connectivity. Having some issues with connecting via bluetooth so that is the only issue we've had so far. Preheats pretty quickly and I like seeing the digital readout showing how hot it is as it preheats. Have used Alexa to voice control the unit and that works well.

I have used GE appliances for last 40 years, when I remodel my kitchen I am more kind of leaning to Bosch but do my computation of cost to own. I went with GE who's been trusted.

This oven works but it's cumbersome to use

I replaced my old GE wall oven with a JKS5000DNBB. My new oven works fine but there are several annoying issues that I wish I could change. The buzzer to let you know the time is up is so soft that I don't hear it unless I'm right next to it. Baking several batches of cookies meant that I had to reset the oven temperature each time I put in cookies to bake. Alsok just to set the time to bake a batch took another 3 step process. I must say this is a very poorly designed oven. I trusted GE to provide quality and it is sadly lacking in this oven. It does work and I will keep it but I may not buy another GE product because of this ones poor design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Oven - Great Looking

Very nice and sleek looking - fit was perfect, seems to have great temperature control. Longevity on the temperature replay will tell. Lots of light bleed on the display - wish there was a way to turn it off completely - have enough clocks in the kitchen. Controls are easy and I like that they turn off after use. Manual could’ve been more clear as to “when” the controls turn off after use. App connect is nice, but wish the oven timer tones were much louder than the highest setting - seems like it gets droned out by the television or radio. Overall, a good buy. Would like to see SS side panels made for this as extra trim for seamless install look, but the minimalistic scene is nice too.

This oven looks nice on the outside and seems to be cooking/baking food well. I like how the oven racks have an easy grip edge in the front and slide out so smoothly. Happy with my purchase!
