Hello MJRC - Thanks for sharing your oven concerns. We're so sorry if the interior space is not what you expected. We do have good news for you! You can adjust the timer volume and type of alert your oven uses by simply selecting "Settings and Sound", then following the prompts for making volume adjustments. Love My Updated Look

Replacing a 30 yr old Jenn-Aire, I'm delighted by the looks and features of my new oven. A long overdue update to my kitchen, it compliments my more traditional cabinetry. Settings are easy to read and operate, and the only thing I could ask for is a louder timer chime.
I would recommend this to a friend!
