We like the "disappearing" oven controls and the ease of cleaning the bottom without having to wipe around heating elements. It's also a beautiful oven.

I've bought this GE oven to replace a 27 year old GE oven. This oven is certainly snazzier, as the heating elements are concealed, whereas the elements in by old oven were exposed. This makes cleaning much easier. The oven looks great installed, and I'm happy with the way it performs. One thing on installation though. The back 2/3 of the new oven (center and left sections) extended the full depth, whereas only the back 1/3 of the older GE oven (center) extended the full depth, so I did have to make allowances for that since my existing electrical junction box was located on the lower left hand side.

The oven works great especially with the app. My only faux pas is that the glass broke inside when set to self clean and it took forever to have it replaced.

Worth long wait

This new GE oven replaced a GE installed in 1996.The temp sensor died about 2.5 years ago. We wanted to replace rather than fix. All our kitchen appliances are black. In talking to our Strafford appliance salesman, because of the pandemic supply issues, no black available. He could not even order one. We held out for more than 2 years using only the broiler part. It was worth the wait. Our new 30" GE is beautiful.
