Oven racks are too big and scrap the inside

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven racks do not fit the oven. They are difficult to remove and have scrapped the inside of the oven. Because it is such a hassle to return and find one that is the same size I haven’t bothered but now my oven has scratches and I have to buy new oven racks that actually fit. I don’t know why GE would let this happen

Racks can be difficult to slide in and out, especially after a self-clean cycle. To help with this, apply a small amount of vegetable oil on a soft cloth/paper towel and rub the left and right edges of the racks to apply a light coating. New Oven with excellent features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new oven. It preheats quickly, cooks food evenly and is a pleasure to use. Having convection and standard cooking options are ideal. The capacity is plenty big enough for everyday use and entertaining. The controls are easy to follow and the design is sleek and modern. This oven has everything from a built in air fryer to a Sabbath setting. It replaced top of the line Jenn Aire with all of the same features. I couldn't be more pleased.

My Dream Oven - except...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally an oven with the capacity to bring a Thanksgiving Dinner in on time. 2 fully functioning ovens is a dream! Also I upgraded from a 24 inch gas oven to this 30 inch double electric. I can already tell that it maintains heat well and that I will have to get used to its power to avoid burning food. I hope to also purchase the meat probe which works with this oven. I already have the air fry basket and I cannot wait to use that. I need to find a liner that works with the oven though because the burners are hidden in the bottom so I cannot rest the normal teflon liner there as it is not recommended. GE any suggestions? My family is too messy for a liner on the rack to work. My one complaint and reason for 4 stars is the grates are scratching the sides of my oven as I move them in and out the oven. I tried the vegetable oil solution that I saw but that is not working. @GE suggestions for a liner to put in the bottom of the oven and also how to prevent further scratching of the interior would be appreciate. Other than that it's a fantastic oven design and functions well.

Terrible experience on double oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Racks don’t move. Went to pull out a rack and my casserole went flying, spilled all over both ovens in between cabinets and windows of oven. Thank god I didn’t burn myself or had a heart attack. What a mess???

We recommend putting a small amount of vegetable oil on a soft cloth or paper towel and rub onto the left and right edges of the racks. Once done, you can clean this residue, use a soap and water or a vinegar and water solution. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. We have two people that love to cook in our house and now with two ovens it made our world a great place to be in. It’s our first time using an electric oven but so far it is working fabulous. We can’t wait for the holidays and how easy it will be making cookies and and all the trimmings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can’t set two timers. Only one timer can be used at a time. Racks are hard to pull out and push in. Should have glide racks not the cheap metal ones.
