Great dryer, don’t hesitate.

4 loads of laundry done and all of our skepticisms are gone! This ventless dryer is great, energy efficient and easy to use.
Senses the load and moisture level and adjusts as needed.
My wife asked me to smell the cloths and how fresh they smell, not like a dryer heating coil.

Dryer of My Dreams

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a wonderful machine! Practically noiseless and much faster than the heat pump dryer I previously had. The settings are very intuitive. Clothes emerge soft and beautiful every time. I love it!

Awesome dryer, better than vented!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent dryer -- the additional cycles are amazing, as is the ventless capability. Bedding dries with ease, thanks to the ability of the dryer to go in different directions and speeds.
The issues with this dryer, for me, were from installers. The dryer door is an installer issue -- they often use belts to lift the dryer, and torque them across the door. LG tells you not to do this (the door on this model has a very tight seal) and it will cause the door to slightly warp. The good news is that it goes right back to normal after a few cycles -- if your door pops open, do a few loads of super wet sheets (which will be long cycles) --3 usually does it (did it for me) with a padded chair to keep the door closed. By the time the repair person arrived, the issue was gone.
Other issue is that installers don't read -- they will often attempt to attach the drain pipe to the wrong port on the back of the dryer. Two look very similar. LG puts a sticker to indicate the right one but usually the helper on the truck rips off all the tags -- and given most of these folks don't bother to read -- can be an issue. If it gets hooked up to the wrong one you'll end up with water all over the floor. Check the LG YouTube channel for a short video that shows how to install and which one is correct. I had it on my phone to show them so this wasn't an issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were a little concerned about purchasing this ventless dryer after reading several bad reviews. And we waited a month before we were comfortable submitting a review. We are so glad we were not scared away by those bad reviews. Yes, it does take 30-50% longer to complete a cycle but we are not pressed for time and it is just not an issue. We usually select the normal load and medium dry which has always been perfect. The clothes are dry but not crinkly over dry. Yes it cost a little more for this dryer but we are recouping our initial outlay with every load and soon we will be pocketing the extra savings for hopefully years to come.

Horrible experience
on June 16, 2024

Some drying cycles do not dry clothes at all. Installers do not know how to install this kind of dryer. Front door is not reversible and I do not see a way to order a opposite oriented door. Leaked on floor alot because of an uncapped extra drain outlet not mentioned at all in the manual. Called several LG phone numbers, some would transfer me to numbers that are not LG, some would lose connection, the online chat finally got someone to fix some of these problems days later.

Don’t have it!
on August 7, 2024

I bought it the end of March and it took 5 weeks for it to come in. When delivered the door would not latch. Parts were ordered and it still did not fix the problem. It was determined that it was sprung. It was removed and a new one was ordered. Many weeks later the new one came in but, the dude was caved in and door broken. So, once again we wait! In no way do I blame the Appliance Barn for this! I just want my dryer!

Hey there! Thank you for sharing your LG dryer experience with us. That warm, dry feeling after laundry is second to none, so we'd love to help optimize your dry time!

To get started, we recommend cleaning your filters, as clogged filters can prevent proper drying. For more information on how to clean and maintain your filters, check out page 42 of your owner's manual. You can find your owner's manual on our page here: http://spr.ly/6422o6Uww.

If you need help with your drying experience, please follow up with us on social media @LGUSSupport with your model number. We'll gladly continue helping out! *Joseph
