Thermacell Patio Shield

Works where nothing else has. I have tried Sprays, Candles, Citronella, Wrist bands, LOL The Patio Shield is the only thing that works!!! I am now going to buy the personal one to carry with me camping and hunting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cool design, horrible performance

Got this as a gift last Christmas, had high hopes based on previous experience with Thermacell products. I totally dig the design of it, but it will not stay running. After it has been ignited, I find that it lasts just a few minutes, then it extinguishes itself. I Have tried several different refill butane's, all to no avail. The unit looks almost brand new at this point because it really never gets used. I love my lantern, and the portable units, but this one was a disappointing bust.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product didnt do anything For the mosquito they were still biting

It works!

We live in our camper and travel throughout the USA. With the Thermacell we have been able to spend much more time outside. I praise its effectiveness to everyone!

Wind eliminates much of any potential effectivenes

Mine was a gift. Am new to mosquito land and being eaten alive. Was hoping for more. Not enough for an area where a fan is needed to survive the heat to sit outside.

Thanks for your review. In breezy weather, place the unit upwind of your location so that the repellent is carried by the wind into the area you want to protect. Thermacell may be less effective on very windy days, although mosquitoes aren't typically out when it is very windy.

Keeps the Bugs Away and Love this Color!

I bought the patio shield when we moved into our new home this summer as the mosquitoes were horrific. I specifically bought from the Thermacell website because they had a warranty. I was so pleasantly surprised and loved being able to eat outside on our new deck and relax with family and friends. I will say that sitting the shield outside about 15 minutes before going outside myself creates the ideal protection. So thankful for this product!

Very effective!

Received as a gift and enjoying my porch again. Easy to use (the info band around a great idea!), aesthetically pleasing and the fact that it is weather resistant is an important factor since I live in humid state of Florida.
