I've used it for mainly replacing light fixtures or outlets in my home. I only run PWR Core 12 tools and the multi-volt system seems genius! I only have a few of the 2ah batteries and I usually get about an hour of use with this light using 12v 2ah batteries. Would highly recommend to anyone with either the 12v or 20v system!
Brilliant design. Makes every job that much better. Light that easily goes anywhere. Saved me inna power outage. Love it for the bed of my, popup workstations or desk-spaces.. the possibilities are boundless. The footswitch is super! Overall build quality is just tough as nails! I paired it with a new usb C capable battery and can also use with the batteries from a combo set I got a year or so ago. SKIL has really upped their game with innovative tools. Gonna check out that two in one drill. Hopefully replace my lost lost redi-drill from the 90s. Thanks y’all!
Extremely bright even with the 12 volt battery. Very efficient, even in the max bright mode. Lightweight and very portable. I highly recommend this, it is a fantastic bargain at it's price.
The tower light is great. I use it mostly outdoors at night when I need to light up work area around the property. Just last night I was working into the dark replacing some fencing. I had both 20v and 12v tools with me so having the ability to use either is great. The pedal button is also great. I don't have to set stuff down if I want to adjust brightness. My only request would be that the top would do a complete 360. It's close enough to not knock a star off. Especially at the price and with the 5 year warranty.
I detail vehicles as a side job and i dont know how i ever made it without this item. I have plug in versions from other makers but this cordless version is the best, its lightweight, very adjustable so u can have light to do the wheels or raise it to have light for the upper part of the vehicle. Also the battery lasts a long time, It only looses i bar after 30 mins of use. It also folds down compact for storage, definitely a 5star product from skil!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great product but.. 2Ah comes with it, lasted 1hr and 3 mins about on high.
Wish it has 120v port like other tower light
Worst thing. It don't warn you light will be dead soon. It dim, blink, then turn off... All within 15 seconds. This is highly dangerous if you only have this as your source of light. For example, in an attic? I own other tower lights. It warns you, then drop output down a level so you notice it.
