We recommend giving your shaver a quick clean after each use and performing a more thorough cleaning each month. Remember, the heads of your electric shaver consist of a blade for cutting and a cap to protect your skin. The cap is designed to be as thin as possible to allow the blade to get close while minimizing the risk of nicks or cuts.

Using the right technique is also crucial for the best results. Since hairs don’t always grow in the same direction, try moving your shaver in circles while applying light pressure. This method helps the blades cut hairs growing in various directions. If you haven’t shaved for three days or longer, consider pre-trimming longer hairs with a beard trimmer for a smoother result when using your Philips Electric Shaver.
