[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was forced to stop using razor blades because of anticoagulant therapy. It is under powered, I can’t get it shave close, pulls and tugs whiskers. I can only get a shave that semi resembles a decent one by lathering my face with soap and frequently rinsing the shaver.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. This is not the experience we wish you had with your Philips Norelco 2400 Wet & Dry Electric Shaver. However, we suggest you try these suggestions to see if you can fix the issue.
Keeping your blades clean and replacing them when required is the number one way to ensure you get a close shave. We recommend giving your shaver a quick clean after each shave and a more thorough cleaning each month.
The electric shaver heads consist of two parts: the blade, which cuts the hairs, and the thin metal cap that protects the skin. The cap is designed to ensure that the blade cuts as closely to the skin as possible while reducing the risk of nicks or cuts.
To get the best results from your Philips shaver, it's important to use the right technique. Since hairs don't always grow in a uniform direction, we recommend moving the shaver in circular motions while applying light pressure.
This will help the blades cut hairs growing in different directions. Additionally, if you haven’t shaved for three days or longer, pre-trim the longer hairs with a beard trimmer to ensure a better result when using your Philips electric shaver.
If the issue persists, please get in touch via social media. We’re available on Facebook (@Philips) and X (@PhilipsCare). Don’t worry, if you don’t use Social Media, you can also reach out to us via the contact page: www.Philips.com/contact.
Hope to speak to you soon!

Smooth, close shave. No bumps or pulling or any of that stuff. I was impressed and surprised at the level of quality at that price point. Definitely worth 5 stars.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] uneven, poor cutting with need to repeat multiple times over same area. Had 3000 series in past, which was better. look past this model

Hi there,
Thanks for sharing your feedback with us. This is not the experience we wish you to have.
It sounds like the uneven cutting you're experiencing could be due to a buildup of hair or dirt particles inside the shaver, which might be affecting its performance. To resolve this, please try thoroughly cleaning your shaver, including removing and cleaning the shaving heads. Additionally, ensure that your shaver is assembled correctly. For best results, use circular motions with gentle pressure while shaving. If you haven't shaved in a few days and have a longer beard, trimming it beforehand can help improve your shave and reduce skin irritation.
If you have any additional questions, please get in touch via Social Media. We’re available on Facebook (@Philips) and X (@PhilipsCare). Don’t worry, if you don’t use Social Media, you can also reach out to us via the contact page: www.Philips.com/contact.

Consider reading the manual correctly before using. A bunch of people on here relentlessly leave negative comments. Before buying online do your research on any product. So far. I'm charging before I use. And besides if you have long hair you're supposed to trimm it off before shaving. Bunch of bobos on here using it as if it was a hair trimmer or clipper.. I have short hair and maintain close shave both head and face. So far I tried it out the box and it worked well. Can't wait til it's fully charged.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every so often this product will no turn on even after being charged. Several times I have been close to returning it for an exchange and then all of a sudden it works again. Can not trust this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 30 yr customer and this is best yet. Washout stubble is much better than brush out. Lighter, Better chsrging.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a faithful Philips Norelco Shaver Customer for fracases, but this shaver seems to leave my facial and especially my neck skin noticeably more irritated than my prior experience with many new Shavers.
