[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s definitely not a great shaver. But it’s got a low enough retail price. I’d probably spring for a slightly more expensive model. Only working while plugged in is a major deal breaker. It’s also not the most efficient or effective shaver. I’d pass on this one.

Easy to Use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the Phillips Norelco shaver 1100 easy to use with very little blade irritation. The only thing I would Caution people to know is that it is a corded shaver so you must have an outlet within reach to use.

Not that good of a shave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] using this shaver makes me realize how bad of a design these circular rotating shaver things are. It often pulls out hair and the shave just isn’t as close as what you can get with the normal kind of electric shaver. I feel like it sometimes does its job as it says, but if the hair you’re shaving are just a little bit too long then it won’t work at all. What’s the point in shaving hairs that are already very short? I’m not exactly sure what this shaver is supposed to replace or how it’s better or what it supposed to be for.

Wired & low power - not for most

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking forward to trying out this shaver from Norelco. I've used Norelco electric shavers pretty much exclusively for as long as I can remember. This was my first wired shaver, but I thought it might work well for travel, or even in a pinch when my normal wireless Norelco was charging. My experience was not the best. I tend to grow my facial hair for around 4/5 days before I shave - so the hairs tend to be slightly longer than what this was made for. I can only assume this shaver is best for people who shave every day or every other day max. Anything longer than that, and there's just constant painful pulling happening. It was not an enjoyable experience. Granted, my normal Norelco would likely do similar, but it has a trimmer attached to it that you just fling out and trim first before you shave. Being that this shaver doesn't have that option to trim, you pretty much limited to shaving every day -otherwise you're in for some painful struggles ahead. That said, once I trimmed my hair down first with my every-day Norelco, I moved over to this one to give it a go. Still not as good as I'm used to, as I'm assuming it's a bit slower than I'm used to, but it worked very reasonably once I went across my face as a shower pace. Once finished, I was pleased with how clean a job it had done. So, going back to before, this shaver is really only going to be suitable for people that shave very frequently (1-2 days max). If that's you, then you should be pleased with the job it does, especially at its price point. But if you're someone -like me- who tends to go a bit longer between shaves, your money would be better served looking for something a bit more suitable to your specific needs.

Solid performance and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good shaver , the performance is fantastic in term of shaving, it will give you a smooth shave no problems, it's not that loud as some other brands , I also like the idea of plug in it after the battery dies, seamless cleaning process, definitely recommend it.
