[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already owned a Philips shaver (much fancier than this one) that I was very satisfied with, but I somehow mislaid its charger. Rather than trying to find a new charger that would fit, I decided that the best and fastest solution would be to buy a new shaver at the low end of the price range. Enter the Model 2300. And guess what? I love this thing! It gives me just as good a shave as my previous model, and what's more its charger also works on both of them. So now I've got two Philips shavers that I'm happy with.

It did not hold a full charge after its initial charge. It was not as powerful as previous Phillips that I owned and rotation is too slow.

I bought this Philips 1000 electric shaver for my husband as a gift, he Loves the new upgrades compared to the old 1000 series from 2-3 years ago, no more brush needed, just rinse under the tap and let air dry, it DEFINITELY holds its charge longer, and can be used while it's charging with its long charging cord and the new design is great!!
