I bought this Philips 1000 electric shaver for my husband as a gift, he Loves the new upgrades compared to the old 1000 series from 2-3 years ago, no more brush needed, just rinse under the tap and let air dry, it DEFINITELY holds its charge longer, and can be used while it's charging with its long charging cord and the new design is great!!

I am using it for the last 45 years and it is very convenient and comfortable, The bad side is when I have to replace the cutting rotary blades, they are very costly to buy it. They cost the price of the new shaver. As I have only. used Philips shaver all those years, I have even gifted many times the Philips shavers to my friends but it is costly to buy the rotary blades that's why I chose 4 Star's.
This product has several good features, however I don’t feel it gives a particularly close shave that I have experienced with my previous Phillips shavers .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product for more than twenty five years never had an issue. This one will only hold a charge for one or at the most two shavings.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It might be because you must have not fully charged your Philips shaver before using it. We recommend you to charge the product using the original charger which comes with the product and charge it for 8 hours uninterruptedly this will give the battery time to reset. Also, if you have very thick or long beard your shaver will require more effort to trim or cut them. In this case, the shaver battery may run out quicker than usual. We hope this helps.
