[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this new shaver for about three weeks and find it provides a smooth and close shave. The shaver is very quiet and is easy to clean. The battery lasts as long, or longer, between charges and is light in weight. I am very pleased with the shaver as I've been with my previous Norelcos.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already owned a Philips shaver (much fancier than this one) that I was very satisfied with, but I somehow mislaid its charger. Rather than trying to find a new charger that would fit, I decided that the best and fastest solution would be to buy a new shaver at the low end of the price range. Enter the Model 2300. And guess what? I love this thing! It gives me just as good a shave as my previous model, and what's more its charger also works on both of them. So now I've got two Philips shavers that I'm happy with.

It did not hold a full charge after its initial charge. It was not as powerful as previous Phillips that I owned and rotation is too slow.
