I've had other electric shavers and this one works well but I find it does not catch and cut as many hairs as my other electric shavers. The battery is pretty good though, holds a charge for a while

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The battery would not hold a charge for more than 2 days, and it took at least 12 hours to recharge. I took this product back to the store. I replaced it with a Pholips / Norelco Shaver 3750. This unit charges in a few hours and stays charged for days. It also shaves better with the new 5D pivot & flex heads.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The shaver does a good job of cutting with the added benefit the flip-out beard trimmer. It took me a while to get used to the lower position of the on/off switch and the shaver doesn't have the same heft as my previous models.
