[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had three different brands of electric razors, but always come back to Norocco. This is the smoothest one I’ve had. Reasonably priced, Close and comfortable shave.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Battery life short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having several Phillips shavers I find the rechargeable battery to have a very short life.
After 4-5 shaves it has to be recharged. This does not happen with the others.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for your review regarding the Philips Norelco Shaver 2300. We are sorry to hear that the battery does not appear to hold it's charge, let's take a look at the issue! Your shaver takes 8 hours to be fully charged, and will then provide you with 40 minutes of shaving time, approximately 13 shaves. Could you fully charge your shaver for 8 hours and then try again. The battery may start charging very slowly to prevent damage to the device. This means that the charging light on your shaver may not flash for the first few hours. This is nothing to worry about, let your shaver charge for at least two hours and then check the charging status again.

Great Shaver - Have Owned a Norelco Shaver for 20+

For the best result when using your Philips Shaver with a foam or shaving gel, we'd recommend you to take care of the following: Always wash your face with water and soap before you start your shaving routine, after which you can apply your shaving gel or foam. Now you should start shaving by moving your shaver in circular movements over your skin. Doing this ensures that all hair growing in different directions are removed. If you're shaving dry, then we'd recommend you to allow at least 15 minutes for your skin to dry completely before you start shaving after washing it with soap and water.

Worst I have ever seen from Philips

I thought it was too cheap to be true and that was the case. It doesn't cut properly, has too low RPM, will simply not cut close, only lasts a few slow shaves, one month and I have had enough. After trusting Philips for 30 years, I am very disappointed. My last shaver Philips Norelco BB8140XL lasted for many years, no problem.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It is possible that the performance of your shaver has declined because it is dirty. There can be hair or dirt particles stuck inside it, causing the shaving heads to don’t function correctly. To fix this problem, properly clean your shaver. If possible, remove the shaving heads and clean your shaver from the inside as well.

Another reason why your shaver might not be working properly is that it is not assembled correctly. For full instructions on how to reassemble your shaver, refer to your user manual.

Furthermore, when you shave with your Philips Shaver, you will achieve optimal results if you make slow circular movements with the shaver over the face.

If you are a new user of the Philips Shaver, keep in mind that your skin needs to adapt to the electric razor. This means that your skin may feel slightly irritated in the beginning. Allow yourself an adjustment period of two to three weeks with your new Philips Shaver.

Not the best shaver I’ve owned
