[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time I used it, the head flew off and went in the sink when I pushed the release button. Now I hold the head when I push the button to rinse out the whiskers.

Thanks for your review regarding our Philips Norelco Shaver 2300. We are pleased to hear that it has been providing you with a good shave, so let's see if we can improve the amount of shaving time it provides so that everything is perfect! Could you make sure the shaver has been fully charged for 8 hours, as then it should provide you with 40 minutes of shaving time, which is approximately 13 shaves. Check also that the shaver it totally free of hair or debris before you shave, as this can cause the shaving heads to become blocked. You can clean your shaver by following these steps:
1.Turn off the shaver, unplug from outlet and remove power cord from the product.
2. Press the unit release button to open the shaving unit.
3. Rinse the shaving unit and hair chamber with lukewarm water.
4. Rinse the outside of the shaving unit with lukewarm water. (Never dry the shaving unit with a towel or tissue, as this may damage the shaving heads).
5. Carefully shake off excess water and let the shaver air dry.
6. Close the shaving unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It would have been nice to have included a stand or holder which would be plugged in for recharge, and a travel case. The shaver is a nice bargain and works well.
