Better than expected for a lower price model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I appreciated the modest price and was impressed that it cuts better than my last Phillips. Leaves my face smooth. Love that the power button is better positioned so I don't accidentally shut it off mid shave. Battery doesn't seem to pay last as long, but still goes about 2 weeks. Very satisfied and I would easily recommend it.

Not as good ss my old one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this one to replace my old Norelco shaver that had reached 'end of life' due to battery not holding charge after 10+ years of shaving every day, The old unit had "lift & cut" that gave a closer shave than this new one. This new shaver has a light to indicate low battery that I thought, expected, would light up when shaver was started to warn that the battery is low before the motor quit in the middle of a shave but no, it comes on after the motor quits which makes it useless,

While this shave indeed does not come with a "Lift & Cut" system, it comes with ComfortCut blades which are designed to cut each hair right above skin level. This is to give you a smooth and even finish. Regarding the battery indicator, this should flash orange to indicate that the battery is almost empty (when there are 5 or fewer shaving minutes left). Still using old Phillips norelco

Thanks for writing a review regarding your Philips Norelco Shaver 2300. We are sorry to hear that your shaver is too slow and does not appear to be charging successfully. We will be more than happy to help you with these issues. Could you make sure that it has been fully charged for 8 hours and then test. The charging light on your shaver may not flash for the first few hours, this is normal, simply let your shaver charge for at least two hours and then check the charging status again. Make sure also that the charging cable of your Philips Shaver is connected correctly to your shaver and plugged in a working electric socket.

Simple and economical razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for an inexpensive razor to replace an old Norelco that had fading batteries and blades that needed replacing. This razor is the newer version of my previous razor. I felt the price was good, and it had all the features I required. It's lightweight and quiet. It shaves and trims my beard easily and comfortably.
