Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several more expensive Philips shavers. This one is an excellent value. It is inexpensive and shaves very well. It is light and handles well. It is no frills but I really don't use the bells and whistles on my others. I may use it for travel to save weight from my more expensive travel shaver.

Have you made sure to fully charge your shaver prior to using it? What we also recommend is to clean your shaver after each use to ensure that there is no hair, or debris stuck inside the shaving elements. They may block it, and cause functionality issues.

Shaves as I expected it would

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shaver part is what I expected. The cordless part is a disappointment. The power dies out too quickly so I always need to have my cord handy for when the power dies down.

i cant stand blade shaving, the one i had travelled with me for years bouncing around in luggage to various long flights,,i finally lost it somewhere along the way,,this unit shaves my face well, handles the bumps and dips and seems to be holding its first charge quite well
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great performance great value

I am seafarer and accidently left my electric shaver on board, so, had to buy a new one. No difficult choice for me, my whole life (now 58) I've shaved using Philips shavers and have never been disappointed, not one day. So far, same great performance as expected, quick shave, easy trim, no pulling even after a week or longer, wet or dry no problem. Lightweight is good for my travels and the charge seem to hold long enough for 5 or 6 long shaves. All this for 30 bucks?!? A no brainer!

The battery won’t stay charged.

I fully charge it and the next day light turns to red and is dead. Only can use it with the power plugged in

If the battery of your Philips Shaver is running out quicker than you expected, follow our troubleshooting advice to solve this issue. Before using your Philips Shaver for the first time, make sure you charge it completely. We advise charging it for the first time for 3 hours. If you have very thick or long hair on your head and/or beard your Philips Shaver will require more effort to trim or cut them. In this case, the shaver’s battery may run out quicker than usual. To ensure you have enough battery for a full trimming session, use a fully charged shaver. We recommend oiling your groomer regularly. You can apply a few drops of oil on the teeth of the cutting element of your groomer. You can use the oil provided in the packaging or any other sewing machine oil.
