It cuts well, but I'm surprised how much slower the motor seems than the motor in the model 1000 shaver it's replaced. I'm considering carefully swapping the cutters (blades and holders) on the two shavers to see if I can get a faster excellent shave with the new blades in the old shaver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [Employee of philipsglobal] Used two times then cleaned it and rinsed it out.Used it a third time and went to clean it and the blades and the whole insides fell out! Tried putting it back together and ended up putting it in the trash. Totally disappointed!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
