Long Charging Time

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, thank you for your review. When you charge your Philips Shaver for the first time or after a very long time the battery starts charging very slowly to prevent damage to the device. Charging takes approx. 8 hours and the fully charged shaver has a shaving time of up to: 40minutes. You can also use the shaver while it is plugged-in and charging. :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works better than other razors I’ve had,and cleaning with warm water is nice.
I think the shaver is good...but improvements I see as better are the length of time the charge lasts and the sharpness of the shaver. The power charge length seems to be improving from 2-4 shaves to 6-8 shaves. The shaving heads require 3 or 4 passes over my face to get a clean shave. Otherwise, it works well...
the product is offered at a good price. It gives a good and clean shave. it offers a good grip.

Please keep in mind that your skin and beard need to get accustomed to the new grooming system, which is perhaps why you're not satisfied with it yet. We recommend using your Norelco exclusively for at least 3 weeks in order to start enjoying the closeness you desire. Also, please make sure to clean your device after every shave for an optimal shaving performance. You can do so by rinsing the shaving unit with lukewarm water, as explained in your user manual.
