[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really disappointed in the performance of the 2600 shaver due to its inefficient cutting. It cuts very slowly, requiring many passes (12) in order to get a stubble free shave. Thus the battery only holds up a few days before needing to recharge. My several years old AT 811 performed much better, until the battery died in it.
I have depended on Phillips-Norelco shavers for a long time, but am sorry I purchased this 2600. Would gladly trade it for something better if offered by Phillips.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think it's a good buy. It holds a charge well. I purchased replacement heads and I wanted to see whether I could easily use them. What I discovered is that there's a small plastic part that holds the heads in place. I was unable to secure that part into its original location after I tested out this capability. Fortunately the plastic part isn't necessary. It took me a lot of fiddling to determine this.

Not a feature packed shaver but when it comes down to it gives a nice *close shave for an electric. I had no noticeable problems with chafing or discomfort. The only negative point I can make of this shaver is that it will occasionally come *unplugged from the shaver end. Other than that I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase.
