[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced my old Norelco Razor that was 25yrs old so I know the quality of Phillips Norelco is superior. Battery life is 7-10 days. New to this one is charge indicator lights, an excellent addition. Charging is fast. I love the travel bag.

The replacement blades are less expensive than the razor it replaced; and Phillips claims the blades last longer than my prior razor (Panasonic). My only concern is the durability of the razor since is it mostly plastic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement for a eight year old Philips razor. I do like the new recommended way of cleaning the cutting blades over the past model that I would take them out and brush them clean. The shave was very close when I first purchased the unit, but after a couple of months use it doesn't seem to shave as close as when I first started using it. I am a little disappointed in the rapid decline in the closeness of the shave. It uses the same blades as my previous model which always gave a great shave for at least a year before I needed to replace them.

This is my first electric razor to use on a daily basis - I had to switch from disposable razors due to recent surgery that requires me to be on blood thinners (can’t risk knocking (sp?) myself). It takes a bit longer to get a really smooth shave, but I’m getting used to it. With really good gel-type shaving cream, it does very well. It cleans quickly and easily; I really like that it is waterproof.
