I like the razor I bought and I got 3 shaves before I had to recharge it. Overall it did a good job on the flat surfaces of my face and neck. I kinda wished I had bought the straight razor type and not the 3 round heads because getting the whiskers between the neck and face, under the chin is a bit difficult. I think next time I have to get a rechargable razor I think I will go with the straight razor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I own another Philips shaver for about 11 years and it still works perfectly. I bought this new model for my son, but the trimmer was pulling the hairs instead of cutting them. I've never seen something like that.
I've already returned it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I give it four stars because I’ve had it for just a couple of months now, and I don’t think that’s long enough to say it’s worthy of five stars. And nothing is perfect, so claiming this to be perfect would be a lie. That having been said, I am very impressed with this shaver. I am happy with the li-ion battery that charges in only an hour, and gives an hour of run time, which actually gives me about a month of shaves (not a thick beard, so it only takes a short time to shave) compared to my old model 2100 shaver that took six hours to charge and would only allow a couple weeks’ use before the next charge and finding a convenient time to recharge for that timeframe (to avoid overcharging) was sometimes difficult. The flip-open head is great for cleaning and the fact that it is a wet/dry shaver that you can clean the head just by rinsing sure makes it easy to keep it clean, unlike the older model that had to be dismantled and brushed clean and reassembled. And there seems to be plenty of power behind those blades. I also appreciate the charge indicator to let me know when it’s getting low before I start to notice any power loss.
I never go on like this when giving a review so I hope this conveys my true assessment of this great shaver.

Didn't work for me

People seem to love this product, but I've been using it for a year and I'll do up to 6-7 passes over the same spot and still have stray hairs. If I'm in a hurry It's actually faster to just use shaving cream and a razor. Maybe I have a dud, but I'm definitely disappointed with this product.
