I have used the Phillips 3000 shaver - model S3332 for 1 month. Although it is a wet/dry shaver, I only use it in dry mode. I like the fast 1-hour charge capability (much faster than my older Philips model). This shaver does provide a better shave than my older shaver. I get 2 weeks of shaving per charge (longer than my older shaver). Philips provides a stand for charging, but I have not used it (I'm leery of of it being knocked over and accidently damaging the shaver)

I am 64 years old, and this is my first electric shaver. Why oh why did I wait so long??? I had this idea that they don't work very well. I can't say that they all work good, I can only say that this one works great!! So glad we bought this, and it was a great price too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new blades don't seem to be Sharp enough to cut my beard. When the battery is fully charged it does not seem to run the razor very fast.

My husband is blind and I needed an easy-to-use shaver with no hassle. The Philips shaver gives a close shave and compared to other brands we had in the past, and believe me my husband is 90 years old and he had many, this one has a low kind of humming sound, He is very pleased with it. So keep up the good work Philips. Nicole

I have always liked Norelco Shavers, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like everything about this razor except the quality of shaves. What else really counts? It does not give a very close shave. Some blame it on the head design that Phillips has introduced for this series of shavers.

Hi, thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that your shaver doesn't deliver very close shaves. The performance of your shaver may have declined because it is dirty. There can be hair or dirt particles stuck inside it, causing the shaving heads to function incorrectly. To fix this problem, properly clean your shaver. If possible, remove the shaving heads and clean your shaver from the inside as well. Additionally, you will achieve optimal results if you make slow circular movements with the shaver over the face.
If this doesn't improve your experience, please reach out to us on Social Media. We’re available 24/7 on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/Philips) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/philipscare). Amazing smooth removal of facial hair. Especially a 3 to 4 day growth. Great for trimming and dealing with ear hair. I replaced my 20 yr old - yes 20 yr old "wet and dry" with this new one and I couldn't be more satisfied and pleased. It truly is exceptional. Now that stubble and low grade beards are part of today's fashion trend, this is the perfect razor for keeping you looking good and not scruffy - ie: Cool :).
