If your Philips shaver makes a different noise when you switch it on, incorrect assembly is the most likely cause. A shaver (re)assembled incorrectly (after cleaning, for example) will emit a rattling noise when used. Here are a few steps you might consider to troubleshoot this issue:

Identify the Source: Try to pinpoint exactly where the noise is coming from. It could be helpful to operate the device in a quiet room. Different noises can indicate different issues.

Check for Loose Parts: Ensure all parts are securely attached and no components are loose. This includes external parts, internal components, screws, etc.

Clean the Device: Sometimes debris or dust can cause unusual noises. Make sure your device is clean and functioning as intended.

Check for Damage: Inspect the device thoroughly for any signs of physical damage that could be causing the noise.

Warranty: since the device is new, it should still be under warranty.
