[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compact and well designed/made. Blades cut well but not as previous Norelco shavers. Bottom line quick easy to use product. But: no brush was included. Needs small brush to help get hair/debris out.

Shaver has a long lasting batter life. Can use on wet and dry. Does not take long to charge. Comes with a travel bag.
I found it takes longer than a traditional razor to shave. Cannot get the same clean shave as a traditional razor.

The lights indicating how much charge left in the battery is very useful, the shaver can be used dry or wet or even in the shower if you so choose. Easy to clean under the tap and it gives a good shave. What more can you ask for?

I have a small problem, miniscule even as life's problems go. From time to time, perhaps every 5 years, I have purchased myself an up-to-date Philips shaver to replace my then serving No. 1 machine. But not because there was anything wrong really with No. 1; more of a whim thing, something attractive about the newest shape, a livelier colour than No. 1 perhaps, but not because No. 1 wasn't doing the core job. It was thus that I bought a new Series 3000 shaver recently.
So what, you ask, is my miniscule problem? Simply this: I cannot bring myself to throw away working machinery. The net result is that I now own three or four fully-functioning Philips razors going back perhaps 15 years, which are crowding my limited drawer space and raising my wife's blood pressure. Does anyone else experience the same inability to part in a definitive way with their Philips shavers, machines that in my experience, never die.
