This is a great shaver for the close shave. So far I have had 2 occasions where the unit stopped when i was shaving. The blades just locked up and sounded like grinding metal . As soon as I opened it the motor started running again. This happened twice . I am still happy with it so far. My last Philips shaver lasted about 28 years. Hopefully no future troubles.

It is possible that the performance of your shaver has declined because it is dirty. There can be hair or dirt particles stuck inside it, causing the shaving heads to don’t function correctly. To fix this problem, properly clean your shaver. If possible, remove the shaving heads and clean your shaver from the inside as well. For detailed cleaning instructions, refer to your user manual.

Shaver does not seem to give as close a shave as other Philips models I have owned. I had an older one that was your top line and it was excellent but I could no longer get replacement heads for it. We do live in a throw away society.

Please keep in mind that your skin needs to adapt to the electric razor. This means that your skin may feel slightly irritated in the beginning. Allow yourself an adjustment period of two to three weeks with your new Philips Shaver. You can also use a gentle moisturizer or aftershave lotion to minimize skin irritation after shaving.

Not as clean and close as expected. If I had to buy another I would try an upgrade.

When you shave with your Philips Shaver, you will achieve optimal results if you make slow circular movements with the shaver over the face. While shaving, it is important to be gentle, especially if you have sensitive skin prone to irritation. Do not press the shaver too hard against your skin. Only apply a gentle pressure which makes your facial hair stand upright and makes it easier for the shaver blades to catch and cut them. And lastly, another reason why your shaver might not be working properly is that it is not assembled correctly.

Terrible heads

Works well with a long lasting charge. Pop-up trimmer is very convenient. Easy to clean. Would be better if it showed remaining charge each time the shaver was turned on or off.

so far, I have no complaints about this Razer, works well dry and If i put on some electric shave It does better , my last two electric razers were not up to par, I'll see if it does better in a couple months,
