Great Electric Razor

At first I thought it was a bit over priced compared to the series below. However, after my first shave a could tell a big difference on how quickly and smoothly it shaved my face.

Norelco 3800 Wet/Dry Shaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Norelco electrics since the early '70s. This would be my fifth one, and although my 10 year old model still works well I wanted to try using one wet. Right off the bat I find the revised head design much sharper feeling and abrasive, and definitely prefer my old model used dry. When used with shaving foam it feels better and seems to be doing a great job. But when finished and clean and dry I still have residual stubble, and shaving wet just masks the areas still rough. Since I bought this I've gone back to using a double edge safety razor, and although it's a lot more hassle the results are worth it. You get a much smoother face and it's also a lot more fun. I'll still use my electrics for a quick touch up but for a great shave I'll stick to the old school method.

Radio interference

I replaced my previous Philips shaver with a new Philips 3000 shaver because I was very happy with my previous one. The only problem with the new shaver is that it interferes with my radio receiver causing static noise on the radio. My previous shaver never did that.
