[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned and used a Phillips razor in the past. This one does not give me a nice clean shave that I experienced then. I also have a beard and this razor does not allow me to shave around my mouth and chin line. It doesn't do a closed shave on the neck, either. That's probably on me for choosing this particular model in the first place. I hate giving negative feed back but I am trying to be honest.

Always been problematic for electric razors, but with age and a turkey neck, why not try again? Read a great review in NYT Wirecutter that praised this particular item. Unfortunately, nothing has changed in the rotary blade razor industry in the past 50 years, as far as my face can tell. And getting around the beard? No slick side tool helps. Back to Gillette. Rats,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this razor due to my old one wearing out. It is very smooth and does a really good job either wet or dry. My old one even though it was the same brand but different model didn't do a swell dry as it did wet.. I am very pleased with this razor and I don't thing you can go wrong with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two older Norelco shavers that are similar to this. They are 5 and 11 years old. Both have replacement blades. Both shave closer and more comfortably than my new 3900. I am disappointed with this Norelco Product. This is a shame as I have counted on Norelco for 11 years.
