Knobs deteriorate

I installed the NGM8058UC model 9 months ago. The look is great and the performance has been disappointing. Middle burner is too hot at lowest setting when fully engaged (4) leaving only one burner option for large pans where I feel like I have good enough heat control. Biggest issue is the knobs whose plastic connection has crumbled in 4 of 5 knobs in just 9 months. I've had to spend 25 each to get them replaced. Bosch warns against removing these to clean, which I have been doing a couple times a month... so may be the issue. Either way, the knobs are very delicate and not cheap to replace.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice stove like it

Great performance- difficult to keep clean

I bought this unit to replace an electric cooktop in my new home- it is lovely and it functions well. My only 'but' is that everytime I cook sometlhing and there is spatter or anything spills, cleaning it is a nightmare...I have had this issue with other gas cooktops- it is not only Bosch...
