Great Bosch 800 Series Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Bosch Cooktop, it takes my cooking to the next level with the new OptiSim and Dual-flame burner.
The sealed burners also make clean-up a breeze. I really like the indicator light on the control knobs that tells me when the burner is cool enough to touch. Cooking has become more enjoyable with my new Bosch 5 Burner Cooktop. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

So excited to get a new cooktop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our original Bosch cooktop was 20 years old and had taken a beating. I had wanted to buy a new one but, because the old one worked, I just couldn't bring myself to spend the money. About a month in now with the new one, I keep asking ... why did I wait???? I love the 5 burners, the heavy grates, the consistency of gas delivery (which I now see my old one had come to lack). This one is also much easier to clean than the old one. I'm still trying to get used to how to turn the burners on (I don't seem to have the knack yet of when to push down and when to let go!) but I'm sure it will come naturally soon. The only thing I don't like is that I didn't realize the simmer burner would be a full-time simmer. I thought it would be a temperature setting on a large burner. I can't use it as a second large burner and sometimes having 1 large and 2 small just doesn't work (the 5th burner is actually too big for most of my pots). But, all things being equal, between what I love and what I was mistaken about ... and the cost (much less than I expected to spend) ... I couldn't be happier.

Cost verses dissatisfied

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this stove delivered August 2, 2025. I am a single household 76 yrs old. I can't begin to tell you how dissatisfied I am with this stovetop. The metal scratches so easily. Even following all your cleaning methods. I wish I would have bought the all black one. I'm sure I would have been happier. I love my oven combo and built in refrigerator. Bosch was always on my Bucket List.

Good cook top

Lights on the knobs that display which burners are hot.
The knobs are snug so my cats can not step on them and turn the gas on. This happened with my prior kitchenaid cook top.
Love the design of the metal rack system.
Easy to remove all the cook top pieces to clean.
Do not like- I have several imperfections in the metal that distract from the appearance. The metal is much harder to clean/shine than the material used in my old kitchenaid cooktop.
