Wonderful experience

We used to have to schedule our wash for when we were sleeping, due to the noise. Now, with the Cafe' we can run a wash anytime and can barely hear the machine.

Wry good product

The dishwasher holds a lot of dishes and does a fantastic job of getting them cleaned. The washer is also very quiet when running allowing you to still be in the kitchen and the noise not be annoying. The controls are easy to use and provides lots of options allowing you to customize your cycle. Overall a great product. Would be five stars, but the fact the different handle colors cost extra is a negative, especially at the price charged.

Exceptionally Quiet

We love the quality of the dishwasher and how quiet it is when running. To make it quiet, there is certainly lots of extra insulation and other pieces that make installation a bit more challenging than other dishwashers I have installed. The dishes come out clean and dry, even the plastic pieces with the dual convection dry function. It's quiet enough we can run it while watching TV in the other room which is great as the cycle length is long with drying enabled. The app could use some work but the notifications especially things like notifying you when rinse aid is required is very helpful. The extra jets on the third shelf for utensils has left everything we put up there spotless.

Costs a lot, ruined our floor

We bought one of these about 5 years ago. Today, we found out it needs 600+ worth of service. It leaked from the bottom, and the water damage ruined our floor. Aside from that, the racks are being held together with zip ties. The top sprayer is held in place by a magnet I used because the weld failed. So yeah. We're angry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Another piece of GE Cafe Garbage

DO NOT PURCHASE!! Spring on door broke just after the warranty expired. Only use about once per week. Granted it does perform well, but it's clearly built with substandard, cheap parts like the rest of their line. I remodeled my entire kitchen with Cafe, everything is failing including my advantium door (internal microwave seal failed after a week and they decided they would do nothing) and Cooktop. STAY AWAY FROM GE CAFE!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
