I purchased this phone in March of this year thinking I was upgrading to a better camera (coming from the S21) since it's a newer phone. The camera unfortunately does some weird "optimization" that you can't turn off. Even with it set to the lowest setting of minimum it still attempts to optimize photos and does something weird with the contrast. It seems the cameras were optimized to take photos of objects and not people. I really want android companies to stop putting mediocre cameras in their expensive phone and trying to make up for it with software. I've owned multiple samsung phones, starting with the galaxy s3 but this will definitely be my last samsung device. I don't want an ultra because I don't like large phones. Quality should exist in the smaller phones as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product with one draw back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the galaxy s24 for both my husband and teen. The phone overall is great and what we expect from Samaung. However, the drawback is when attempting to send photos/videos over text there is instances where the phone lags. It isn't enough to throw out the whole device but given its supposed peformance power this is dissapointing to see.

Great phone, good battery, okay camera.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this phone to replace my Pixel 6 Pro, which has horrible battery and bad performance for gaming but a great camera. This phone runs great and the battery is much better than the Pixel ever dreamed of being. It runs much cooler and works great for on device games like genshin and honkai star rail. Circle to search is cool, really not many complaints. However the WiFi does seem to have a lot of issues. It drops while streaming with Moonlight/Sunshine, Xbox and PSPlay. I'm using a RAX42 router and never had the issue with the Pixel so I think it might be something with this phone. But that and the camera are my only complaints. The camera produces noisy, soft images. It might improve with updates, I'm hopeful. Overall a great device and I'm happy with it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite being pressured by several people to switch to Apple, I remain a loyal Samsung customer. The new S24+ is great. I haven't needed to use all the AI features, but will definitely appreciate them when the time comes.

The best phone to date I've ever used! I'm loving!

I kept calling to see if it had shipped because i was reveling at all the positive reviews i saw on youtube.I just got my device a few days ago and omg it's been such a revolutionary device the look the feel the texture I can't say I'll ever go back to what I used previously I traded in my s22 plus from before and I don't regret doing one bit. I can't begin to tell you how elated my experience using this device and it's so seamless I've been trying to not put a case on it because it just feels so good in the palm of your hand. The battery life is extraordinary as well. That's one of the main takeaways I upgraded my battery life on my last trade in was meager at best but this one is remarkable. I'm considering getting the whole lineup of the smartwatch and the galaxy buds blnext to get me integrated into the samsung ecosystem because these products have changed my whole view. The gaming experience is nice and refreshing compared to my previous phone. Looking forward to many more years in the samsung family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] good phone overall specs are great camera quality is better over all out look on the phone is good but what makes this a 3 star review is it seems like the phone is just a copy and paste edition of the 21+ with slightly better specs and a couple of features that the other doesn't have I wish they where more inventive like when they first started making real changes to the phone that captivated there users

Galaxy s24+ is a must have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently switched from the Zflip 5 to the S24+. At first I was hesitant because I love my Zflip and was scared I would miss it's features but the S24+ is definitely worth it. The battery life is great and I love the camera. It's quite a durable phone I have dropped it quite a couple of time and have yet to see a scratch on it. The phone just feels sophisticated, I love it. The Galaxy AI was a feature I didn't see myself using. However, as time has gone by I find myself using it time and time again. Makes things so easy when I need to search for something and all I have is a picture and it's fast! I'm not big on the whole AI wave but Galaxy AI seems more casual and convenient.
