It's good just not great
on February 22, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's got a great camera (a little higher than average) and the speed is the same as any other S series. I have stuck with a. Samsung phone since I bought a Galaxy S2. Yeah! That long.. I am usually a cheerleader for the Samsung brand. Till now, I recently vought both the S24 and the S24+. And as they are almost the same as the last series, S23. I don't like the fact that the 24 & 24+ are very boxy and the camera lens and awkward to carry around, especiallywithout a case. I also don't like at all the fact that you have no option for an SD card. I am really a Samsung fan normally. But honestly I'm thinking of getting a new brand. Mostly, over the memory issue.

Hi Samfan1,
Thanks for taking the time out of your hectic day to share your thoughts with us about your Samsung Galaxy S24+. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, linked below. At 6.2 inches and 6.7 inches, the display sizes of both the Galaxy S24 and the S24+ increased by 0.1 inch compared to the Galaxy S23 and the S23+. However, the Galaxy S24+ comes with a QHD+ display, while the Galaxy S23's screen remains FHD+. The Galaxy S24+ has longer battery life than Galaxy the S24. Compared to their predecessors, the Galaxy S24's 4000mAh battery has 100mAh more than Galaxy the S23. The Galaxy S24+'s 4900mAh battery has 200mAh more than the Galaxy S23+. Both of your new devices come with a 12MP Selfie Camera and a triple Rear Camera consisting of a 50MP Wide-angle Camera with 2x optical quality zoom, 12MP Ultra-Wide Camera and 10MP 3x Optical Zoom Camera. You can use portrait mode on 2x and 3x zoom to take dynamic close-ups. Even in low light, take shots with reduced noise thanks to Nightography and the new ProVisual engine enhances detail and color for clear, vibrant high-resolution photos, even at digital zoom distances. Your new devices have a different design as well with their rounded back for a more comfortable grip, unified design with a satin finish for both the back glass and frame, improved Armor Aluminum with better strength/hardness, and Front/Rear: Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Quite a few differences between its predecessor, as you can see. As in our previous Galaxy S23 Series, if you find yourself in need of additional storage on your device, Samsung Cloud, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneDrive are available to store your precious content. Check out, "Manage storage on your Samsung Galaxy phone" if you would like more information of cloud storage. Feel free to contact Samsung Support if you would like any additional assistance or if you would like to share any additional feedback with us. Thank you for being a cherished Samsung customer.

I just upgraded this from my S22+ and I am in love with the 24+!! I bought the taupe purple color, and it is beautiful and shiny. Charges fast, long battery (can last up to 2 days if not always in use/using it for games or endless use). Beautiful graphics, videos and talking use. Overall, a really great upgrade and worth the price.

Galaxy S10 Plus -> S24 Plus 512MB
on February 2, 2024
Posted by: Samsung
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the last five years I've been using the S10 Plus and it's has been great even after losing update support in early 2022. Still 5 years was enough for me to upgrade phones and the S24 Plus did not disappoint. The flat edges on the screen felt strange at first but now I prefer it. It's not a revolutionary upgrade but it's a more powerful phone, no doubt about that. The S24 Plus has a better screen resolution, a more refined camera, almost twice the RAM, 512 GB storage, and faster CPU. It definitely feels a lot nicer than the S10 Plus, I kept the S10 Plus because it still works great but the battery was near its end of life.
The only complaint I have is the loss of the expandable storage. Although it's not a huge impact because it's only for media since a lot of apps couldn't be on the microsd card on the S10 Plus. If/when that's an issue they sell small 1.5 inch USB-C SD card readers that the phone can easily transfer files on the go if you don't have a computer to transfer files to.
I'm loving the pictures, the easiness of editing them afterwards and how fast the phone feels. Definitely worth the upgrade especially since the S24 Plus will have update and software support for the next seven years!

Very much improved from my S22 Ultra
on February 21, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the small things have started to have a higher impact on my phone decisions. The S24+ was well worth the upgrade from my S22 Ultra. Firstly, I was not a fan of the square corners but got to keep almost all of the screen realestate. Much quicker too with the new snapdragon chip (I was in the top 5% of scores on 3dmark). Also has great thermals. All around fantastic phone for a power user.

Major speaker, sound issues!
on March 19, 2024
Posted by: Seahorse02
Sound & speakers are awful, particularly on speakerphone. Came with no torch widget, which samsung vould not fix. Adjustments in sound app made no difference to speaker quality. Screenshots entail pushing power & volume down buttons - both on right side & that is really difficult for small hands. Reading screens are grainy! Returned & went back to my old s10.

Hey Seahorse02,
Thank you for finding the unobstructed time out of your bustling day to share your sentiments with us about your Samsung Galaxy S24+. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, linked below. There are a few things that can cause issues with the speaker while you are on call or listening to audio playback through your Galaxy phone. For example, there could be an external device where the audio is being redirected. It's also possible that a software problem or physical damage is causing the issue. Take a moment to review, "Speaker not working on Samsung phone" when you have some time to conduct some simple troubleshooting steps to help resolve what you have described to be experiencing with your device. To use the flashlight, open the Quick settings panel by swiping down from the top of the screen using two fingers. Next, tap the Flashlight icon to turn the light on or off. If taking a screenshot by pressing and releasing the Side button and Volume down button of your device is too difficult for you, you can use your palm swipe to capture a screenshot instead. You would capture an image of the screen by swiping the edge of your hand across it, from side to side, keeping in contact with the screen. From Settings, tap Advanced features > Motions and gestures > Palm swipe to capture. Tap to enable this feature. For your convenience, I have included a link to your device manual for your reference. If you have any questions for us or if you would like further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Samsung Support. Thank you for being a trustworthy Samsung customer.

The only issue I have so far is that it gets hot fast in sunlight

Poor quality control
on July 29, 2024
Posted by: Androidforever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the S24 at the initial release of the product. The phone started well but after a few days the phone began to freeze and do a full restart every 5-15 min. It was in the shop and they said they fixed the issue but it did not resolve. I had to return the phone. Now I'm waiting on a new S24 once all bugs are clean
